The project

Materials

Honed Silver travertine

Limewashed plaster

Rift-cut white oak

Belgian linen

The brief was simple: a calm house for a family of five that could also hold forty guests for Ramadan iftars. We removed two internal walls, opened the stair to the courtyard and gave every room a view of green.

Materials

Honed Silver travertine on the floors and stair, limewashed plaster walls, rift-cut white oak joinery and linen at every window. The palette stays quiet so the garden can do the talking.

We wanted a house that felt finished on day one and still surprises us a year later. It does.
